In 1992, R4 began its commercial based HVAC division when it acquired Belenses Products. Belenses was a market leader in the split system and packaged rooftop heating and air conditioning products and when R4 purchased the company, it rolled all of Belenses' product line into its own keeping the Belenses badge for 10 years. After that 10 year timeframe, all former Belenses products became badged as R4.
