The Red Liberation Army Strategic Support Force (RLASSF) is the fifth and final branch of the Red Liberation Army (RLA). It focuses primarily on the development and defense of military technologies, rocketry, space travel, communications, cybersecurity, cyberwarfare, radar command, WMDs, and "cyberneticization" of the military.

History

Equipment

The RLASSF typically does not operate on the ground, but aids in logistics, operating multiple AWACS aircraft in coordination with the air force, and seaborne radar. They also control 2 launch platforms jointly with the RLA Rocket Forces used to launch experimental rockets and satellites. They currently operate an estimated 20+ satellites ranging from communications and media to spying and military intelligence to scientific satellites. Their first successful satellite launch was in 2007.

They are also responsible for guarding the Posadastan's top secret WMD facilities, especially the facilities rumored to be used for the Posadi Nuclear Program.

Cybersecurity is also important to the RLASSF, as they maintain active cybersecurity and cyberwarfare forces. They are known for attacking foreign websites that attempt to bypass Posadi internet firewalls, and for blocking foreign hackers and viruses/spyware from getting into Posadastan.
