The Border-17 raid was an assault on Border-17 carried out by the 21st Juggernaut Division, the Antico Front and the Blue Confederal League with funding from the CIA and firepower of the 21st Juggernaut Division.

The raid began when the Juggernauts pushed through the main entrance from the French side and opened fire on the Militsiya and the 163rd Border Control Unit. The Federation's Armed Forces wouldn't liberate the border until after 3 days of harsh fighting.

Background

Capturing Border-17 would provide an easy way for ODR troops to inavde the FRP. Slowly with the aid of funded rebels, the ODR would quickly capitualate FSR Germany and FSR Austro-Hungary, and granting them independence.

CIA members discussing with the Antico Front and 21st Juggernaut Division commanders about the invasion of the FRP.

The invasion would start on a day where the 21st Juggernaut Division would be stationed outside on the French side of Border-17.

Preparations

Raider plans

Blue Confederal League members would disguise as civilians crossing the border and would act as suicide bombers to begin the raid. Once the League members blew up, the Juggernauts would open fire at the Red Army and the Militsiya. Antico troops would be placed on the rooftops and would fire at any incoming reinforcemnets to the border. They would also infiltrate to the control section and administrative area to take any adminsitrative Red Army personnel on-site, including the Border Director and her deputy hostage, and would possibly execute them.

After the Border is fully controlled by the Raiders, troops from all over the ODR would arrive at France to invade the FRP through the border. Once they invaded, rebels from FSR Germany would rise up and aid ODR to let Germany have it's independence from the FRP. They would do the same with all the other FSR's until only Russia is left. ODR would stage a coup in Moscow and St Petersburg to topple the Workers Socialist government and form a Western Conservative government.

Federation's Plans

Border Director Flopomov reported most of the 21st Juggernaut Division acting strange and not following orders given by her to the District Command three months before the raid. The same happened for the next two months, then the CFRPSS decided to investigate the matter. Agents infiltrated the division to see what was going on, and they learned about the raid. They took the matter to the Central Command and Marshal Saratov ordered extra divisions near the border.

Gamma Squadron Team 4 deploying to their post, 1 day before the raid.

The plan was to have the Gamma Squadron Team 4 stationed on the upper floor of the border and to have the 1st Light Tank division placed inside the border for a quick response. The 62nd Marksman Division placed in buldings in Solovesk and Olobrisk. the 18th Rifle Division, the 98th Home Guard Division would be on stand by and the main reinforcements to any surviving member of the 163rd Border Division. The 15th Guardsmen E Division would be on the frontline, fighting against the raiders. The 10th Special Forces Regiment would be doing rescue operations to evac any hostages or casualties on-site. The 8th Militsiya would guard the exits to protect civilians and to catch any raider trying to retreat.
