The Rako Civil War is an ongoing conflict in Rakosien between the National Salvation Council, the nation's ruling military junta, and the Alliance of National Militias (ANM), a coalition of ethnic armed organisations operating an insurgency. The conflict has been raging for over a decade, with recent gains by the ANM failing to precipitate any sort of detente or ceasefire.
