The Rebellion of 1805 was an uprising against the leadership of the Empire of Vionna which, though hard fought and large in scale, was ultimately defeated by loyalist forces of Empress Elizabeth of Vionna. Though it was unsuccessful, it set the scene for the Vionnan Civil War.

Prince Raul of Berchtenstein commanded the Empress' southern armies in the field. In Vionna the rebels were led by the Duke of Larkinge and the Viscount Akehurst commanded the rebels in Frankenlisch and was executed following the end of the uprising for his part in its organisation.
