The Red War, sometimes referred to as the First Ruvelkan Civil War, was a war fought in the Ruvelkan Imperium from 1862 to 1865. It was the culmination of significant political turmoil that had originally begun with 1848 Ruvelkan Revolution. While Queen Andrea was initially successful in pushing for reform within the government, her successor Queen Edina was consistently blocked by the Imperial Convention which led to an effective stagnation of political discourse.
