The A-6 Hozawa is the mainstream Attacker and close air support of the Donryu force. It is also the last plane that was designed and produced by Akashi works before its folding in 1997. It remains in service by Reppu Industries who since have branded it with its name. However renaming it from the "Yūkami" to the "Hozawa" in honor of Akashi works' founder, Aiyen Hozawa. It has been recently halted production for the forseeable future and most of its units may be retired and be replaced by the A-8 Anezaki.
