The House of Imperium was the founding royal house responsible for the unification of the region which became the Empire of Greater Phoenicia from 1130 AD.

The House of Imperium engaged in a 100 year war (1029AD-1129AD) in  which they rallied Babalite cities alongside Dweorgs, Mermania and Dryadi tribes to fight a war against foreign invaders and the Deserti People who allied alongside them.

By 1129 The House of Imperium and there allies won the war.

Royal Houses of West Phoenicia

West Phoenicia has had two royal houses that have ruled. The House of Dorcas and the House of Bush since independence in 1586.

The House of Gryphon is a royal family of the Kingdom of Gryphon that married into the House of Bush. The current Royal family is now refered to as the Gryphon-Bush Royal Family.

The current ruler is Emperor Glenton Gryphon-Bush II.

House of Dorcas

The Dorcas family played an important role in aiding provinces to secede from Greater Phoenicia. Initially they were loyal supporters of the crown until they witnessed the injustices that were befalling the land.

The Dorcas family under the leadership of King Richard Dorcas III and Queen Helena Dorcas set the nation of West Phoenicia in a positive direction as the new nations first royal family in 1586.

The King and Queen were assassinated in 1590 during a harvest festival. The culprit was a Greater Phoenicia Empire loyalist.

Richard Dorcas III son Prince Constantine II ascended to the throne.

King Constantine Dorcas I led the military during the War of Greater Phoenicia Aggression where he died in battle in 1595 during the Battle of New Tudor.

Princess Louisa Dorcas, the only living offspring of the late King Richard Dorcas III assumed control of the throne and dealt with the ceasefire with Greater Phoenicia.

Her government advised she marry and secure an heir. She turned down a marriage proposalfrom the noble Bush family. Soon after rumours began to circulate that Queen Louisa was going to reunify West Phoenicia with Greater Phoenicia. Queen Louisa was forced to abdicate, rather than lead a country into a civil war due to unfound rumours of her loyalty.
