Rurik, officially the Republic of Rurik (Ruran: Tchutinka Ruriyka) is a nation in eastern Argestes, bordering Časrhinna to the west, Jinchun to the northeast, and Notius to the south. It has extensive coastlines on the Great Outer Sea, the Great Inner Sea, and the Northern Sea. It is nominally governed as a democratic presidential republic, but is a de facto authoritarian dictatorship, with power concentrated in a group of business oligarchs known as the Troika.
