The Invasion of Saintonge (also known as the Slavic Liberation War, Reunion War, and the Saintonge Crisis) was a military conflict between against the Kingdom of Saintonge by the Federal Soviet Republics of Yugoslovenski and the Imperial Senate and People of Sieuxerr. Yugoslovenski cited its reasoning as pulling ethnic Sebrenskans away from a country in on the verge of total civil war due to decades of continued economic and social decline. Sieuxerrian reasons for its invasion was a response to protect and defend Merovingians living in Saintonge.
The Saintonge Crisis was the first major land battle fought in central Casaterra between multiple nations since the Pan-Septentrion War, over eight decades ago.
