Sarocca, officially the Union of Saroccan Republics, is a country in Northeast Thismari. It is a federation of 13 Republics, coming together to form the full Saroccan state. Fazakir is the capital of the nation, as well as economic centre, however power and urban importance is spread out across the nation.

Sarocca was formed in 1994, after the 1988 Desert War and subsequent liberation of North Aswara from the control of South Aswara. The peace talks following the defeat of aggressor forces in 1993 put forth a final agreement to make one federal, secular and democratic state to represent all people on the historical lands, putting an end to decades of violence.

Since unification the Saroccan economy has boomed, becoming a hugely prosperous nation and important player on the world stage, despite being only a young nation with significant violent activity in the south of the country. Sarocca still remains a secular, federal and democratic republic, using a semi-presidential parliamentary system to elect leaders, driving the nation forward.
