The Second Battle of Nazca, codenamed Operation Descubrimiento, was a major confrontation in the South Amerigonnan War that took place on 17 to 18 September 2020. Planned by Ilarian commanders, the objective was to disable or destroy the seven Guado airfields established in Nazca and the adjacent Nazca Lines, collectively codenamed Arazzo (meaning "Tapestry").

Arazzo had been a strategic outpost for the Guados to carry out aerial attacks and offensives alongside the Ilarian Western Coast and the Central Provinces. It is well-fortified and defended, which let the Guados put a strain on the Allied war effort. After being defeated in the Sicuayape Campaign, the Guado commanders wanted to ensure that Arazzo is supplemented with double security.

An Allied reconnaissance mission to eliminate radar sites commenced on the night of 15 September, but they were eventually caught by Guado troops. This left the Allies at a strategic disadvantage, and they awaited the Guado deployment.

The battle was fought on two fronts: land and air. The air assault commenced first, with orders to commence air defense suppression, aerial bombardment and close air support. The land assault was divided into two directions: north and south. The north approached from the side of the El Ingenio River, and the south into and from Nazca. The assaults were going well, until Guado reinforcements from the west came in. This was attributed to the delay in Ilarian reinforcements commanded by Kimberly Ordóñez, upon whom Yepes told him to "come as quickly as he can." The battle lasted onto the night, and the Allies eventually routed the Guados off from Nazca and the Nazca Lines.

This battle marked a decisive victory for the Allies, as it allowed them to push further south to eventually reach Iquique. It was also the largest battle ever fought on Ilarian soil, overtaking the Battle of Yanarú and Ceza in the War of Ilarian Subjugation.
