Second Wolf Palatinate
The Second Wolf Palatinate was the sixth and final stage of ancient Wolf history before entering the Extinction of the Wolves that would later transition into the Proto-Imperial Era. The Second Wolf Palatinate initially began under unification by Marcenius I in 900 B.E.The Second Wolf Palatinate saw remarkedly more success than the First Wolf Palatinate with a period of unfettered expansion towards the areas now known as the Imperial East, the Imperial West and the Imperial North. The Second Wolf Palatinate also fought the Third Hare Dominion in the Hare-Lupine Wars over control of the Imperial North and the Tolna Mountain Range. Alongside this was social and political developments including the development and inclusion of the religious authority as apart of governance.
The Second Wolf Palatinate came after the Collapse of the Palatinate that was caused by the death of the Vesperian King. Much of the Palatinate was divided between squabbling nobles and warlords vying for power. The collapse did not bring about a significant stop of sociocultural development as the Extinction, though it saw a general decline in the establishment of smaller governments under the rule of a single noble family. Marcenius I, a claimant to the Throne of Hollókő asserted his domination as a great power under the Duchy of Silanus.
