Sheikh Khalid Harjam (Arabic : شيخ خالد حرجام), born September 21 1925 in Douar Arab, Salamat and died November 25 2001 in the same village, was a shepherd, popular for killing more than 12 terrorists during the Douar Arab massacre in December 1997. He was awarded the Hero of the Homeland medal in 2000.
