Age and gender roles
From the days of Empress Hitomi, women have always played an essential role in Ilbonese society and politics. The Wakagaeri Conservatives saw this in no different way and promised to further embed the principles of gender equality into the Ilbonese constitution, which ended with the passing of the Sex and Gender Equity Edict of 1974 by Otani Minoru's cabinet, declaring that no business or organization inside of Ilbon could discriminate against women during the hiring or payment process. Furthermore, the Wakagaeri Conservatives conscripted hundreds of thousands of women into the parties media, student, and youth wings by the end of its existence. Even after its dissolution, former members of the WKNL continued to fight for the rights of Ilbonese women, some female members of the league even ended up becoming founding members of the Pink Front.
