The Harmonious Realm of Shiangzhuo (Gòngtóng yǔyán 商卓), commonly referred to as Shiangzhuo, is an Empire located in the Western and Central portions of the Yúmǐzhīxiāng continent on Annwynn. It is one of the world's most populous countries with a population of over 1.6 billion people and is the second largest nation in the world with a total land area of [insert]. Shiangzhuo is bordered by [Insert five nations] to the East and shares a maritime border with Khotan in the West. The capital and seat of government of Shiangzhuo is the city of Lengde on the coast of the Zhēnzhū Bay.
The geography and climate of Shiangzhuo is varied and diverse comprising several distinct biomes and ecosystems. The Northern and especial North-Eastern portion of the country is dominated by the Lóng yá, Jiěmèi fēng and Xiōngdì shān mountain ranges and the corresponding plateaus, cold deserts and alpine forests around them. The Western part of the country is dominated by a series of mixed forests and vast glacial planes with a temperate humid climate. The South-Eastern portion of the country varies greatly from the rest and is covered by the Mànshēng Jungle and experiences some of the highest recorded rainfall in the world yearly.
Following its late entry and limited intervention in the Omandan Continental War in 1988, Shiangzhuo has established itself as a rising power on the world stage. Adhering to a policy of irredentism and soft-expansionism, Shiangzhuo has asserted itself politically across both Yúmǐzhīxiāng and the eastern portions of Omand. Due to the nature of the Omandan Continental War and the widespread urban and industrial devastation across the Omandan continent, the relatively undamaged Shiangzhuo industrial base grew rapidly during the later part and following the conclusion of the continent war. As a result Shiangzhuo has assumed the role of worlds largest exporter of a variety of goods including many household items, electrical components, industrial machinery, steel, and automobiles.
