Fachi, officially the Province of Fachi is one of the 15 Tayichian territorial subdivisions of the highest order, covering 12,502 square kilometers (4,827 sq mi), the fourth smallest overall, and the second smallest out of the Provinces. It has a population of around 7.3 million, the third highest.
Kawamachi is the capital and largest city, while other larger cities include Tendō, Komae, Koyama and Odate, while its highly influenced by the two of the nation's largest metropolitan areas, both of which enter the borders of the province - Shuto and Idaina. Fachi is bordered by the Shuto Metropolitan District and the Mediriman Ocean to the west, Teikai to the north, Kitai, Idaina Metropolitan District and Samui to the east, as well as Dikai and Gyoson to the south. It has been nicknamed the "Breadbasket of Tayichi" due to its location covering most of the Southern Taīga Plain, one of the most agriculturally productive regions of Tayichi. Almost the entirety of the province lies within the Taīga-Kaidō Megalopolis.
