Shuraya, officially The Atrahasian Republic of Shuraya, is a semi-isolationist ethnocity located in the Atrahasian sea between Valtameri and Meridia with a small number of arctic colonies in the south and west. It is ruled a republican government headed by a Šar, who is elected every five years. It's legislature is the Ur-Bēlūtam a tricameral system, divided between the Šaplītipuḫrum, Maššuḫipuḫrum, and Elipuḫrum in ascending order. For ten-thousand years the city has stood in cultural-stasis, quietly growing and developing and rarely interacting with other nations in regards to anything beyond trade.
