The Social Democratic Party of Karzeghistan (Karzegh: Cоциал-дeмoкратиялык Пaртиясы Кыргызстан) is the governing and dominant political party in Karzeghistan and has ruled since the Tulip Revolution in 1994

According to the party's charter, the SDPK is aimed at creating a "sovereign, democratic, secular, socially-oriented and unitary state with a stable economy". The statute also refers to "hopes for improving the well-being of society, protecting the interests of citizens, regardless of their social status, nationality or religious preferences".

The party stands for a secular state and society and is also considered to be statist, Karzegh nationalist and authoritarian.

History

Pragmatic Eurasianism

Pragmatic Eurasianism refers to the ideas and policies of President Ergash Mutalov which champion a move towards a 'Eurasian Union' based on economic integration and common defense as well as close cooperation and friendly ties with both Russia and China.
