The Socialist Left Party (Mespalian: Socialisticquinen vasenpârti, French: Parti socialiste de gauche) is a socialist political party in Mespalia.

The party was founded as the Communist Party of Mespalia in 1920. It was formed primarily by left-wing faction of the Social Democrats, but also included people from smaller anarchist and socialist circles. The party was almost banned in the 1920s due to its radical, republican and socialist agenda, but this was avoided. While in the early 1900's the party's support was strong and it even got 50% of the vote in some working class districts, its support began to wane in the 1960s and 1970s as the younger generation left the party and deindustrialization meant that its voting base shrunk rapidly. In 1983, the party adopted its current name when it merged with several smaller far-left parties.

Currently, the party is the most left-wing party represented in the Mespalian General Assembly. It supports democratic socialism, feminism and environmentalism and advocates for a more egalitarian economic system, a strong public sector, progressive taxation, nationalization and abolishment of monarchy.
