St. Benedict of the Discovery was the leader of the first expedition of Roman Christians from Europe to Hesperidesia. After making landfall outside of modern day Paradise City, St.Benedict led several followers deeper into the jungle, where he founded the monastery that bears his name.
The work of St. Benedict is recognized in the Blackhelm Confederacy on June 11 every year, where hundreds of millions of revellers take part in the Festival of Saint Benedict of the Discovery with music, prayers, and other activities.
