Stanisław Lem (born September 15th, 1981) is the 14th and current Education Minister of the United Kingdom of Malgrave.
Early life and career
Stanisław was born in the city of Pakosc, as the only son of a small working class family. Rapidly advancing and excelling through the countries compulsory educational system Stanislaw became interested in teaching a new generation of citizens being quoted in later interviews as thinking that he needed to provide an educated populace to aide in the fight towards the eventual goal of ascension. As an exemplary student that had noted an interest in teaching Stanislaw was recommended and selected to be placed into a special fast-track scheme specially designed to create a generation of highly skilled and motivated teachers. In 2001 after several years of further studying at Royal Pakosc University and despite his age Stanislaw left and accepted a position as teacher in a small high school in Karlino
Life continued as normal for Stanislaw and he performed his duties adequately being known for his skill in keeping up with the ever growing stresses of the teaching system and maintaining a friendly but professional relationship with his students, this simple life did not last however when in 2004 Stanislaw became nationally known for tackling an armed student during one of his classes. In the aftermath of the incident Stanislaw was eventually drawn into entering the political field by the idea of increasing the standard of education and reducing the large amount of stress that was impacting his students. Stanislaw joined the Progressive Unity Party and won in his local district in the 2005 national elections stealing the seat from a representative of the Malgravean Agricultural Coalition.
Slowly moving through the ranks of the position Stanislaw was in line for a cabinet position in 2007 however he turned it down in order to focus on issues affecting his local constituency at the time. In 2009 however Prime Minister Rachel Berry offered him the position of Minister of Education in an apparent attempt to stamp her own impression on the cabinet and provide some freshness into the party whilst maintaining some crucial stability for the upcoming election.
Education Minister
As the countries Education Minister Stanislaw has been praised for working within the system to try and reduce the hours in which Additional Learning Experiences (ALE) can operate. Stanislaw has quickly gained a reputation for openness and efficiency known for meeting fellow rural and urban teachers and establishing close contact with the teaching union in order to coordinate a sensible approach to the various problems affecting the countries current educational problems.
Stanislaw has also continued the work of previous Education Ministers to facilitate the integration of newly immigrated children into the public education system whilst also overseeing the continued construction and modernisation of current facilities designed to cope with the increased immigrant population and subsequent expected rise in the national average birth rate.
