The State Security of Besmenia (Besmenian: Staatssicherheit Besmeniens, SSB) was an intelligence service and also a secret police in West Besmenia and functioned as a government instrument of the Besmenian National Union.
The SSB was founded on February 1, 1924 and developed into an extensive, well-staffed surveillance and repression organization. It was mainly used for espionage and to protect the power of the BNU. People from the Besmenian Empire were targeted by the SSB when there was suspicion of political resistance to the BNU, espionage or a planned escape to East Besmenia. SSB spies were present in countries such as East Besmenia and his allies states.
