The structure of the Cheonghae National Military Force is as follows.
Unit Types
- Field Army: One Field Army consists of more than 100,000 troops.
- Corps: One corps contains three divisions or equivalent subunits.
- Division: One division consists of three brigades.
- Brigade: The minimum unit for independent operations. One brigade consists of 3-4 battalions.
- Battalion: One battalion consists of approximately 400 troops. It typically includes three combat companies and one support company.
- Company: One company consists of four platoons.
- Platoon: One platoon consists of three squads. For tanks, three tanks make up one platoon.
- Squad: The squad is the smallest unit. 10 soldiers make up one squad.
