The Syaran Strategic Forces are a reserve component of the Syaran Commonality Armed Forces. Unlike the Syaran National Forces, the Strategic Forces does not consist of any actual organized formations or units. Rather, the SSF is a registry of all recently discharged veterans of the SCAF who could be readily recalled to active service in the event of an armed conflict. The purpose of the SSF is to provide a large pool of manpower to fill out emergency drafting and provide priority for conscription should the need arise. The SSF is overseen by an administrative headquarters known as the Strategic Forces Central Command, which is currently its only active element.
