Szimóngôcz (/ʃi.mun.gɔt͡ʃ/; Francilian: Simonésis; Latin: Simonisum) is the capital and second-largest city of Lecistan, home to roughly to 400,000 people. Located on the banks of the Rzëszù River in the center of the country, Szimóngôcz has operated as the capital since Lecistan's independence in 1945, as well as a relatively important trading post for the area in past centuries. Szimóngôcz is also the capital of the principality of the same name.
