The Condensed History of Tanour

Tanour started out as a small smattering of farms, and stayed that way for awhile, until the mid 1800s. up until then, most of Tanour (back then, it was called Tichour) was some farming villages, but....there was another nation there. that nation was Tanbouk, and they had more resources than Tichour, and had a industry. the elders came together and formed The Commonwealth of Tanour, a combination of Tichour, and Tanbouk. after that, Tanour became more than some villages. it became urbanized and wealthy (294 Billion Tanicks).

Tanour also has some history with New Sebronia. New Sebronia is north of Tanour, and is a very picturesque place. during the Battle of Fischer Hill, New Sebronia sent several archer divisions to Tichour, who had only spear levies (armed peasants). because of the archers, Tichour won the Battle of Fischer Hill. from then on, Tichour (and later, Tanour) was good friends with New Sebronia.
