The Tax Cuts Party (Miranian: ๆธ›็จŽๅ…š Genzeitล; Gothic: ๐Œฐ๐Œฝ๐Œฐ๐Œฒ๐Œน๐Œป๐ƒ๐„๐‚๐Œฐ๐Œผ๐Œด๐Œป๐Œด๐Œน๐Œฝ๐ƒ ๐Œณ๐Œฐ๐Œน๐Œปแšด๐Œพ๐‰ Anagilstramฤ“leins Dailkjล) was an economic liberal political party in Akashi.

Founded in 1970, it became a right-wing populist formation. It was a founding member of the dark blue bloc, but never achieved much success due to its radical stance, and later merged with the Freedom League in 1981.

History

The party was founded in 1970, in the midst of the "siege economy". Its defining issue was supporting tax cuts, from which it developed a program of economic liberalism, attacking government involvement in the economy and advocating stronger markets.

Having placed itself on the same side as the Freedom League, the TCP experienced the same struggles during the 1970s. Its market-oriented program provoked opposition from the left, while its right-wing competitors such as the CNP proved to have a stronger, right-wing populist-tinged message.

In preparation for the 1982 general election, the party voted to merge with the FL, in order to consolidate the neoliberal forces.

Ideology

The TCP was an economic liberal and right-wing populist party. It stood for tax cuts, deregulation of the economy, and limited government. It was opposed to the power of the Sลhyล.
