The terrorist attack against the Salamati Evening is a mass shooting perpetrated by Mohand Al Tirashi, a member of the AIG, against the journalists working for the Salamati Evening in the morning of May 18, 1997.
Course of the attack
In the morning of May 18, 1997, a man with a rifle and wearing a balaclava, entered in the premises of the leftist newspaper The Salamati Evening. He killed two journalists, Shams Eddine Halami and Hawa Lotfi and injured 9 others.
