National Intelligence Agency of Pelz is responsible for identifying and neutralizing espionage activities against Pelz. This includes monitoring and countering the actions of foreign intelligence agencies operating within the country. The NIA plays a key role in safeguarding Pelz national security by providing intelligence support to the government and military. This includes monitoring potential threats from other countries of different regions.
The agency has different branches specialized in International and domestic Intelligence, as well as cybersecurity. In the year 1971, PIA was the main focus of the government and received a huge amounts of investment from the Pelzian government of that time. The country's lack of military strength involved PIA into a dominant force of offensive and defensive measures for Pelz. The investments and increasing budgets to PIA, modernized the agency in a massive scale allowing them to operate in a different and sufficient level.
Federal Police Department
By the year 1982, Federal Police Department was merged with PIA, allowing them to have more of an internal influence over the country's safety in a larger scale. PIA has been subject to various reforms aimed at improving its transparency and accountability ever since. Historically, the agency has faced criticism for its involvement in domestic politics and human rights abuses. To address these issues, the Pelzian government has implemented measures to increase oversight and ensure the police branch of PIA operates within the bounds of the law.
