The Left (West Crylantian: Sinsitram, East Crylantian: Venstre) is an anti-capitalist, democratic socialist and left-wing populist political party within the Crylantian Federation.

The party was formed in 1973 as an alliance and later merger of four left-wing political parties. These political parties were the vanguard communist Communist Party of Crylante, the eco-socialist Radical People's Party, the democratic socialist Independent Socialist Party, who had split from the moderate left Socialist Party and the Feminist Party. This new coalition was formed after the election, which had seen a growing in support for the radical left, with the four parties collectively winning seven seats in the lower house. It has been represented in the lower house ever since, almost always getting between 10 and 13 seats every election.

Today the party is staunchly against capitalism in Crylante, however there are disagreements about what to replace it with. While most favour a democratic socialist and eco-socialist approach, there is a significant communist minority that exists within the party, advocating an overthrow of the current order and a quick transition to a stateless, moneyless, classless society. The party's factions have all been consistent in standing up against capitalism in Crylante, and pledged to stand up "for all oppressed groups within our current society, so we can create a sustainable society of equals, free from corporate oppression" and promised "to make the Crylantian values of freedom, opportunity, democracy and tolerance actually mean something" in their 2017 election manifesto.

It is headquartered in Nebligen, the nation's capital, and has eleven members in the People's Assembly. The party has seen more success at state levels, where it has entered the state executives in some more left-wing states. The current party leader is Leonardo Sultana, who serves in the Lentini state executive branch.
