History
Before the Crusade
There is little to no information known about this time period, few artifacts or ruins remain.
The Last Crusade
100 years before the front Claimed power, the earth was ravaged by a cruel and bloody war of Faith. Known by historians as the Last Crusade, it was a global war that claimed 60% of the worlds population. The cause of this War was God and which religion was right. How the war began has been lost to history as to have the original faiths that triggered it. What is known is that over the 200 years that this war was fought the religions changed and fell to ruin and new one's formed in the bloody fields of the dead.
The Faiths that remained at the end were:
The Army of Blood: They believed that only by bathing in blood of their enemy's in battle could lead them to the afterlife and if they failed to achieve this their souls would linger and rot with their body.
Brothers of the Divine Flame: They believed that to cleans the world of the corruption that plagued the world was to burn all who sinned. To them a sin was anything that went against their holly book. The content of that book where lost during their last stand where they set fires and the weather changed and trapped them in a fire storm killing all of them in one night.
Priests of the old Gods: It is believed that this is the merged corpses of the religions that started the war. It was an amalgamation of all pre-war faiths. They where lead by their Pope in a fight to bring Allah's glory to all of there Hindi followers. They believed that the Five gods would bring peace though Blood of their enemy's, sacrificed at the top of their pyramids where they will eat of their flesh and drink of their blood. Through this they thought they would gain a pure soul and ascend to shanghai la. There they would sever the Five gods of, Zeus, Odin, Ra, Amaterasu, Buddha.
Cult of Lover Craft: Not much is known about the Cult, the little that is, is that they would capture live prisoners and proceed to drive them mad into devotion of their god the name of which is lost and was little known during the war. What is known is that their Church that acted as their bases was Nuked eliminating over 90% of their members effectively killing them.
These for groups fought and killed any who did not side with them, and little protected those who had lost their faith to the blood and death, for they suffered the worst forced education our world has ever seen.
Front Founding
When hope was at its lowest and the Cult of Lover Craft and the Brothers of the Divine Flame perished leaving just the Army of Blood and Priests of the old Gods to fight it out. It was at this point that The Militiamen formed, they are the people who lost their faith, who after all the blood death and rot knew no god or gods existed and even if they did they where cruel and uncaring and not deserving of their faith.
The Militiamen where the progenitor of the system's that pulled through the war that the Front formed from.
The Militiamen stood for the people that the religions saw as simply fuel to their after life. The People stood against this and they gathered all the people who had been cast aside or trodden under foot, they built up their strong hold in Antarctic where the faithful didn't look for followers.
There they slowly grew and developed their forces and when the Army of Blood and Priests of the old Gods had worn each other down the Militiamen attacked at full force out numbering them both 4-1. And with that force they wiped out the last of the faithful and on that day Religion was outlawed so as to never suffer those horrors again.
The Militiamen rebuilt and spread back out over the world and from one branch the Front formed vowing that the only thing that the people should have faith in is the military that lead them out of the dark.
And during the time the other groups that arose from the Militiamen forces around the world each became their own county with their own beliefs, and a very small number even had small religions start to form.
This was one of the main reasons that the Peoples Front chose to unify the world so that they could stop any of their darkness from raising again.
First Contact
The United Imperial Republic of The Hellcatian Empire was the first nation that from beyond the Earth that contacted the Peoples Front over the other nations of the Earth.
They offered a trade deal that would give the Peoples Front: 5 trillion Universal Units, Exosuits and Super Soldier Serum and a defensive pledge and only asked for rights to build a military base with in our territory.
This was a contested offer by many of those within the Government from those that knew of the offer. The 1st High Commander chose to accept this offer and allowed The United Imperial Republic of The Hellcatian Empire to build on the Southern Island of "Kup" which was an old now derelict Darunian army base.
A few months after the Interuniversal Imperium of the Jeffrian Imperium made contact and bought 100,000 trouts at 12 pelts a trout. This started friendly relations between the two nations.
A year later the Holy Lucky Democracy of The Japanese Americans has found the small nation and took pity on them and so has gifted them with vasts amounts of plans for many kinds of space craft.
Their researchers worked hard studding the vast treasure trove of technologies and soon developed their own space craft. They then merged the Hellcatian technology with that of Japanese Americans and created a small Fleet of war ships.
Unification
With a fleet of advanced warship the 1st High Command used this hidden military asset to lead an attack with the aim of unification of the Earth.
The attack had two main areas of attack: -The first was to send troops in months before hand to every major city on the planet. These troops would move as tourists and locate high value targets and to move to the best tactical potions to launch their attack when the Fleet arrives.
-The second was to attack with their war ships moving into position above all the worlds major city's and from those ships they deployed troops and Mechs down from above. They captured key points and then push out from those beach heads till they captured the city.
Once a city was captured they they would secure it and then would move to the a smaller city's. This continued until they Unified the world under the banner of the Peoples Front. Resistance was dealt with swiftly and with easy due to the Front forces having received super solider serum that gave them increased strength, speed and most usefully bullet skin which enabled them to ignore the weapons of resistance fighters.
Colonization
A few years after the Vinter Interuniversella Imperium of Swedish Country, Gifted their jump drive technologies this enabled the Front to become an interstellar capable nation.
With space capable ships the Front began to explore their solar system. In the outer most asteroid ring of their system they found a derelict ship of unknown origin's drifting.
The ship had suffered a large amount of damaged and had clear signs of combat from some long ago battle. A team was sent to secure the ship and explore it.
There was no life signs found on board and they secured the bridge. Over the next 10 years science teams were sent to study and repair the ship and bring it back online. During this time they found a command droid hacked into it and used it to decider the unknown Alien language.
With the ship systems deciphered they found most were corrupted beyond repair but they were able to find coordinates to a world.
An expedition was and sent to the world to see what was out there and to make possibly make contact with the race that built the ship now renamed the Hawk.

Political System
Front Political System
Each city is lead by the Local Captain who is voted in by the population every 4 years. The Local Captains run their cities under their own discretion.
For projects and systems that are outside the scope of a single town is run by the District Major, there are 8 Districts each run by one District Major.
The District Major is in charge of making sure that the systems that the towns and cities withing their purview function properly. Each Local Captain can nominate their own choice for who the next District Major for their district will be from those nominations the people will vote for them every 6 years.
For things that involve the whole nation those things are handled by the High Commander, who is nominated by the District Majors from those nominated the people will vote for them every 8 years. The High Commander is also the head of the military and has full authority to declare war.
All legal matters are decided in a military court, this includes civilian matters. Judges are approved by a District Major but can only serve in the district of that Major. For more serious matters they are handled by the High Court; High Court Judges are appointed by the High Commander every 70 years with 5 Judges serving the High Court.
All candidates for all levels of government can only run for office if they have an adequate rank in the Military.

Swarm Political System
The swarm is lead by the Eternal Queen, who resides within the Mother Hive.
The Mother Hive acts as the capital of the Swarm and is the source of the orders given to the wider Swarm Fleet.
The Swarm Fleet is made up of Hive ships and their accompanying vessels. A Hive ship is ruled by two beings the Hive lord who manages the Swarm members of that Hive, and the Hive Mind the sentient mind of the ship.
The Hive lord runs the day to day actions of the Hive ship and how its troops are used. The Hive Mind is the sentient mind of the ships itself, it thusly manages how the ships is run and aids in its piloting. It also shares a collective minded with all other ships and uses this bond to communicate with the rest of the Swarm.
Every ship also has a Gene Master on bored, they see to the processing of all incoming Biomass for gene analysis and the integration of new genes into new generations for the wider Swarm.

Alert System
The Alert Level Index is the indicator of what the current level of military mobilization is and what the corresponding public restrictions are.
1) White Level: This is the day to day level when the populace has the most freedoms
2) Blue Level: This is when the first level military reserves are call in, with that there is an increased patrol prescience
3) Yellow Level: This is the level where levels 1-5 of the military reserves are call in, no private vehicles may be used at this level and only public transport systems and military vehicle are allowed to operate. If found in breach of this your license and vehicle will be revoked and destroyed.
4) Orange Level: This is the level where all reserves are called in. Only military vehicle are allowed to operate, at this level all vehicle can be drafted into service. Civilians have class one mobility restrictions placed on them. Civilians found in breach will be put into lock down an till White level is reached.
5) Black Level: All Military units are to be at full battle stations. All vehicle are property of the Military until White level is reached. Civilians are confined to the homes, if a need for food/water/medical Aid they are to use the emergency help line (###) to request assistance. Civilians have class two mobility restrictions placed on them. Any Civilians found outside without escort will be found guilty of trespassing in a restricted area and placed under arrest and will be held for a 6 months minimum term.
6) Red Level: All able body Citizens are called to battle stations, The nation is on full lock down, any laws broken during this time are met with the death penitently and are to be carried out immediately. Civilians have class three mobility restrictions placed on them. All minor's are to be delivered to their school where they will stay till White level is reached. This level is reserved for top level treats where national or global disaster is possible.
7) (Classified) Purple Level: This level is only enacted after the Nation has been invaded/decimated/destroyed. These are instructions for The High Commanders eyes only: Commander You have failed in your mission to protect your nation. Your new Mission is to gather your remaining forces {If any} and relocate to the Gateway Hub universe. Once there you are to recall any and all forces to you and seal with system. There you will rebuild. When you complete your mission you will summit yourself for a court marshal for failing to defend your nation, your punishment will be life imprisonment.
Civilians Class Mobility Restrictions
1) Level One: Civilians are allowed to collect food/water from local distributors, you are also allowed to seek medical treatment. All other movements are restricted
2) Level Two: Civilians are only allowed out of the homes, except to seek medical treatment. For supply's of Food/Water are needed they are to use the emergency help line (###) to request assistance.
3) Level Three: Civilians are restricted to their homes, they have no freedom of movement at this level. If a Civilians needs to leave their home they must have a military approved escort with the rank of Lieutenant or above. All supply's or emergency needs Civilians are to use the emergency help line (###) to request assistance.
4) Level Four: Full lock down no movement allowed. Level reserved for Viral/Bacterial/Fungal/Chemical/Radiation/Unknown Hazards.
