The Quadrumvirate is the collective executive head of state of the Federal Republic of Zitasso. The Quadrumvirate is made up of four Quadrumvirs, each representing one of Zitasso's four states. Each representative is elected by popular vote every four years. The Quadrumvirate work together to make decisions for the nation, the Quadrumvirate has the ability to sign and veto laws and write executive orders. The Quadrumvirate also work as Zitasso's representative on the world stage. Each Quadrumvir essentially acts as the governor of the state they were elected to representative.

The 50th and current Quadrumvirate consists of Luisella Mazzi, Ugo Lori, Salvo Cocci, and Ottavia Lagia, with all but Lagia serving their first term as a Quadrumvir. The current Quadrumvirate was elected to office on August 15, 2021.

Origin

In 1822 the leaders of 4 of Zitasso's largest rebel groups met in modern day Zitasso City and agreed to work together to free Zitasso from Avergnonian rule, after independence was gained Zitasso kept the Quadrumvirate as head of state.
