The Urbanian Unitary Republic (from French: La République Unitaire Urbänien), or simply Urbania, and sometimes called Urbänia, is a mid-sized nation located on the west coast of the continent of Lacia, in the region of Roses Without Thorns (also referred to as Lacia, interchangeably). The exact date of it's founding can be argued, as it has had many phases in government. The official date of it's founding is 12 December, 2017, the day after her declaration of independence was written by a council of soon-to-be Deputies, but one could argue the nation was by-large independent by 23 October of that year.

Urbania's population equates to approximately 50 million (IC), and 13.900 Billion on NationStates.net as of 12:00, 10 September, 2024. The English demonyms for Urbania are Urbani (when referring to a possession of Urbania), and Urbanian (when referring to the Urbanian people). The French demonyms are Urbani or Urbanie, and Urbanien, in the same order. The people of the nation recognize Late French (Parisian dialect), United States English, and Latin as it's official languages, though French and sometimes English are the only ones commonly understood, except in the territory of Northern Allouxia where German is common, but not recognized by the government.

Urbania currently classifies herself as a Unitary Republic (Une République Unitaire), owing to that it's a unification of several ethnic territories and clans, former members of Cote Azure (Wintreath), from which the nation gradually seceded from, except for the territory of North Allouxia, which was gained from Allouxia.

She is run by two supreme positions called Prime Censor and Censor respectively, in a system inspired from the Roman Republic, and is legislated by a Chamber of Deputies, inspired from modern Romania, where 106 Deputies, including the Censor, vote independently on proposed bills. The Censor himself cannot propose Bills, but the Chamber of Deputies and the Prime Censor can, but the Prime Censor cannot vote on them.
