The Warehouse is a 2013 Malgravean animated film, produced by the Ministry of Culture in an attempt to spread high quality Malgravean productions into the international community and to compete in international award ceremonies. It was made in full collaboration with the Royal family and the government that allowed previously classified information to be declassified strictly for the films production.

It is rare in that fact that it actually contains the voice of the Queen and her current partner and that Nikola Tesla briefly came out of isolation to voice his role in the production. It was funded partially by the Ministry and by the Royal Family themselves which meant that the film received considerable financial support.

Plot

An extremely young Princess Helena is exploring the outer edges of the grounds of the Royal Gardens in Wizna when she accidentally stumbles across the supposed 'magical warehouse' that she has heard about in bedtime tales told by her mother. Curiosity gets the better of the young Malgravean and she enters the facility, finding out that the facility is full of mysterious and rather amazing objects that can perform a manner of amazing tasks, most of the objects are harmless and simply grant the user an ability like brief super-strength or the ability to perform incredible leaps. Helena however soon crosses over into another section of the facility, ignoring warnings that items in this area of the facility are dangerous. Whilst in this area of the facility the young Princess stumbles upon a simple piece of wood that the computer nearby states is from one of the ships that was lost during the great exodus, once again her curiosity gets the better of her and she touches it, discovering too late that the plank of wood mysteriously begins to slowly drain your body heat until death.

At that time Nikola Tesla (controller of the facility ) is guiding a young Myka, a family friend of his through the facility for entertainment, with Nikola explaining and demonstrating several safe items with Myka, who is seen in the background subtly stealing a small device off a shelf. During one of these demonstrations Myka overhears a faint noise in the background and manages to persuade Nikola to investigate the so called 'high-danger sector' of the facility. Inside the sector they quickly stumble upon the then Princess who is dangerously close to death. Myka manages to save the Princess with an item she stole earlier, that unbeknownst to her is actually powered by the affection one has for the dying patient. The two immediately form a connection in the form close friendship. Once safe Tesla then explains that the 'magical warehouse' story taught to children was created to cover the fact that the warehouse actually exists, and the facility was established to store strange and amazing artefacts that cannot be explained by Malgravean science. The trio quickly leave the facility to re-join the palace and have some lunch whilst the screen briefly pauses over the computer screen of the item stolen earlier by Myka before fading to back. The computer displays a small message that states that the healing device is powered by a pure loving affection between the wielder and the patient.

Reception

'The Warehouse' received universal praise in the United Kingdom, receiving the highest of possible reviews from the Royal Malgravean Times and an over rating of 93% positive from offline and online review agencies.

It has since been nominated for several awards at the Malgravean National Film awards. Best Director, Best New Actor, Best Soundtrack and Best Screenplay.

The film was nominated for the 'Best Foreign Short Film' at the Kouralian Annual Film Awards. It also enjoyed mediocre success in the country following a short period of odd mistakes. After the first views of it appeared online, it was quickly taken down across all of Kouralia, being impossible to view, due to 'Violation of State Security Act 2012 - 12:3:4', legislation which was promptly shown to not exist, or to be sealed from the public eyes. However, only three hours later, it was unblocked, after being available online in Kouralia for only 12 hours.

In the United Pony States of Legokiller, the film had a mix to decent praise than from the, mainly on the interesting of the folklore on Malgraveans containing all the magical devices in a warehouse, and being a fine kid's film. Late Luna Senate rank "The Warhouse" a C on being a unique Malgrave film showing the culture to international audience, but cheesy on the magical scenes. The film spawns a national meme of the wood plank saying it is beyond comprehension.

The widely acclaimed Malgravian film 'The Warehouse' recieved mixed reviews by pundits when it hit Celritannia. An average review of 65/100 from critics, giving an overall C+ across the score board. However, the film attracted many citizens from across the country who greatly enjoyed the film, and his since been broadcast on the Children's Entertainment channel.

While the intentions of the film weren't so clear, the Montesardi audience perceived it as cheap propaganda, trying to dissuade the energy of the Indium District. As of such, the Trotskivnians rated poorly the film, expecting cinemas around the nation to view it negatively. It also sparked wide controversy within Nevarro, where angry protesters forcibly destroyed the tapes. Overall, the bad perception earned the film a 12/100 by Montesardi critics.
