Therese Leigen (born March 12, 1995) is a Normarkian professional swimmer who competes in the 50 meters, 100 meters and 200 meters in the strokes butterfly, freestyle and backstroke, with 100 meter freestyle being her strongest event. She holds the normarkian record for 50 m freestyle, 100 m freestyle, 200 m freestyle and 100 m backstroke, and she's often regarded the greatest normarkian female swimmer for shorter distances and has won several national prizes. She won one gold medal in the 100 m freestyle event at the 2024 Summer Olympics.
Therese Leigen is famous for her women's rights activism abroad but also for engaging in several projects in Normark that aims on supporting young girls and adolescent women being active in sports. In 2023 she hosted the Doplhin Games in Veiranger, a female only youth competition that aimed on allowing girls between the ages of 13 and 18 to compete in a supportive environment.
