2300 BCE POD settlements in the Tao culturally seperate from POD.
900 BCE Izumodo of Ein established.
400 BCE Izumodo's sphere of influence roughly matches modern day borders.

1st–6th centuries

100 CE Izumodo directly controls most of the Tao penninsula
536 CE Izumodo invades the Aoba Islands
548 CE Izumodo annexes the Aoba Islands.
Grand Izumodo of the Tao is established.

7th–13th centuries

802 CE Sakura War.

14th–16th centuries

1443 CE Civil unrest breaks out into civil war.
1519 CE Tao splinters into dozens of city-states.
1593 CE Steltens make contact with Taoists.
1595 CE Steltens open trading post in Ein.
1596 CE Unkown city-state attacks and sinks a Stelten merchant ship.

17th–18th centuries

1600 CE Steltens begin invading Taoist city-states, using sunken merchant ship as cause for war.
1793 CE Rhodevus annexes Tao along with Felsinia.

19th century

1904 CE Tao gains independence.
1915 CE Tao joins World War I on the side of the Allied Powers.
1927 CE Izumo Takehiko dies.
Izumo Shou ascends to the throne.
1928 CE Imperial Constitution enacted.
1939 CE Empire of the Tao joins World War II on the side of the Core).
