The Federation of Titaniar, or simply Titaniar is a nation comprising of 14 states, 2 autonomous regions, and multiple territories. Titaniar controls the Northeast of its continent, along with the Titan Archipelago and the western part of the Archangel Islands. The country is bordered by Vikinad and Titanland, which are both autonomous regions of Titaniar. To the south, Verdexi Liberio and their crater borders the nation, while the Titan Sea and Archangel Ocean surrounds the north and east. At 2,267,783 km2, it is the largest territory on its continent, and comprises nearly a third of it. Nearly 269 million people live in Titaniar. Its capital is New Titan, and its largest city is Titan.
A subspecies of Homo Sapiens, Homo Sapien Titan lived and dominated present day Titaniar. Over the next 160,000 years, the Titans lived a hunter-gatherer life, until the agricultural revolution. Large tribes emerged and fought for dominance until 5,700 BCE, when a tribal confederacy was formed. In 5300 BCE, the confederacy fell, and the Age of Forgetfulness started. Not much was known until 4200 BCE, where various kingdoms arose. For the next 1600 years, Titaniar was ruled by many different monarchs and warlords. The Titani Kingdom took over these nations in 2600 BCE, and ruled for around 750 years. The Titani broke up into many smaller principalities. Many kingdoms would rise and fall over until 206 BCE, when the Holy Titani Empire united most of the kingdoms to an extent that no other nations had done before. A theocracy, the Holy Empire stood firm for 900 years, and was the most powerful nation at that point.
In 1197, the Archangels discovered Titaniar. Their religions conflicted with each other, and they went to war. The Titans were defeated due to the Archangel's more advanced tech, and allies that followed their religion. Titaniar became a colony of Archangel. In 1662, the colony rebelled and gained their independence in 1683, and a monarchy was restored. Democracy was established in 1721, and the monarchy was restored in 1863. Titaniar colonized the Archangel Islands and Vikinad. After the Great War, the Empire began to decolonize. The modern republic was restored in 1922 in the hopes of not starting another Great War. In 1987, Titanland gained its status as autonomous region after a independence movement and referendum. Titanior is still the dominate force in its region, and a major power on the global stage.
The Federation of Titaniar is a representative federal republic. Titaniar is member of the Verdexian Union, along with Verdexi Liberio and The Commonwealth of Polska-Lietuva-Rutenija. The nation does no interact with nations outside of its continent, is mostly interacts with nations close by or in the Verdexian Union.
A highly developed country, Titaniar has the second largest GDP in its continent, and fifth in the world. It has an income tax rate of around 30%, but much higher for the wealthy. Titaniar ranks moderatly high in measures of socioeconomic performance, including average wage, median income, median wealth, human development, per capita GDP, and worker productivity. The nation runs a free healthcare system, and free primary school. Titania has a moderately sized, but technologically advanced military. The main focus of Titania is Scientific/Technological advancement, the nation is extremely technologically advanced, with technology years or decades above other developed nations. It's a political and cultural force, and a technological superpower.
