Sir Tobias Atticus Henry Isidor Somerset, CH, KBE, ONZ, MR, KC (joined 7 October 2022) is a Judge and the present Master of the Rolls within the Empire. Formerly a prominent Parliamentarian, Somerset is also known for serving as a Barrister, Business Executive, Clergyman in the Empire of Great Britain. Known within the region as Toby Somerset, he co-authored the Judiciary Act 2023 part of The Acts of Union along with several pieces of non-standard legislation in relation to Home Affiars, such as HM Prison Service Act and HM Police Forces Act. Somerset has served as a Member of Parliament, Speaker of the House of Commons, Home Secretary, and most recently as Senior Deputy Speaker of the House of Lords serving as Acting Lord Speaker at the request of his father Henry, Prince Royal.

Family

Somerset was formerly a member of the old Sherwood Family but left after dissatifaction.

Subsequently becoming a de Stafford-Howard-Pembroke, this family were members of the landed gentry and upper-class of Empire of Great Britain. The de Stafford’s originally came to Britain during the Norman Conquest, fighting for King William I and subsequently being granted lands in Stafford, from where they get their name. The House of Howard is an English noble house founded by John Howard. He was created the Duke of Norfolk by King Richard III of England in 1483. Finally the Pembroke’s were established in the Kingdom of Great Britain, and held the family seat of Hwlffordd Park, which has since been lost.

A few British noble or gentry families have "triple-barrelled" surnames. These indicate prima facie (the inheritance of multiple estates) and thus the consolidation of great wealth. These are sometimes created when the legator has a double-barrelled name and the legatee has a single surname, or vice versa. The de Stafford-Howard-Pembroke Family were formed due to this legality.

Somerset was adopted by Henry, Prince Royal becoming part of the Royal House of Somerset, though he is not presently in line for the throne.

The spoken style of a Baron or Lord in the Empire of Great Britain is "My Lord" or "Your Lordship" when being spoken to directly, or "His Lordship" if being reffered to in conversation. This is also how Judges are reffered to in Court.

Other peers refer to eachother either by their designation or "Lord [designation]" so the Baron Brookes would be "Lord Brookes" or simply "Brookes".
