The Treaty of Burnois was a treaty signed between the Kingdom of Talliland, Olnuria, Ricoia, Hugia and Margria on 5th May 1936 in the aftermath of the War of Power as a treaty of mutual assistance and alliance in case Grodia attempted to strike again.

History

The King of Talliland Maxwell X proposed in early 1936 that the Treaty of Drawbank be extended to include the Tiny Countries. The presidents of each of the Tiny Countries were soon in talks with Talliland and Olnuria and the treaty was signed on 5th May 1936, coming into force on 1st October that year.

Text

Article I

  • If Grodia or another country attacks one of the signatories following the War of Power, it is seen as an attack upon all of the signatories and the signatories that have not been attacked must defend the one that has.
  • If a signatory gets attacked, the other signatories must deploy their full might as if they are defending their own country.
  • If a signatory gets attacked, the other signatories must do all they can to quickly destroy the enemy of the signatories.
  • The signatories are also in alliance, meaning they support each other in any way possible.

Article II

  • Mutual assistance doesn't just mean militarily, it also means politically and economically in any way when assistance is needed.
  • Loans can hereby be exchanged between the signatories.
