The Treaty of Praihills was a treaty signed between Olnuria, Amanpra, Grodia and the Tiny Countries on 15th November 1938. It created the Community of Trade between the six countries.

History

The leaders of each of the Tiny Countries proposed a community of trade in 1936 between the three of them and talks began in Burnois, Ricoia which were later joined by Olnuria and the countries they were recently at war at - Amanpra and Grodia. A treaty was drafted by representatives of each country and signed by the foreign ministers of the respective countries on 15th November 1938. It came into force on 20th March 1939.

Text

Article I

Heretoafter the signing of this treaty, a Community of Trade shall be created between the signatories.

Article II

  • The Community of Trade will consist of organised trading between the signatories from the ports of its capital or biggest coastal city.
  • The Seat of this Community will be based in Burnois, Ricoia and will meet whenever the members see fit and at least once a year.
  • Representatives for the Community will be elected in annual elections across the six countries that have signed this treaty.

Article III

  • As well as representatives, a President of this Community will be elected in elections that will take place across the six countries every two years.
  • The President will oversee trade and cooperation between the signatories and organise importing and exporting of goods.

Article IV

Six representatives as well as the president will be able to debate issues on trade where the Seat is placed in Burnois, Ricoia.

Article V

This article allows members of the Community to easily exit and allows outside countries to ask to join.
