The name "Trinitarian Church" derives its meaning from its triarchic godhead. It is known that the church recognizes the following figures, namely supreme creator-god of all the universe Nymenna, the Lightbringer of whom all sapient souls owe their freedom to, and the collective spirit of existence.
Gods
Nymenna
Nymenna is the creator-goddess of all existence. She is described as omnipotent, omnipresent, and yet not immortal, as Nymenna had perished during the birth of the universe. Most of the legends focus on events perceivable by our existence, namely the time period after her death. In contrast to her role of creating life as we know of it, Nymenna's considered to be an apathetic uncaring goddess that seeks to annihilate everything she made, as all life ends in the stillness of death.
The Lightbringer
The Lightbringer is known by many names, the Adversary, Satan, Lucifer, and so on. He is a Promethean hero of the Trinitarian faith, having brought the gift of knowledge to humanity, and rebelled against the infinitely powerful Nymenna to free life from her self-destructive grasp. The Lightbringer is commonly agreed-upon to be the leader of all Erelim, but his current whereabouts are unknown.
Collective Existence
The Collective Existence (Kalathia) refers not to a singular figure or persona, but the creation of Nymenna that was born from her death. It is life, it encompasses everything we know of. Its tertiary role in the Trinity is a symbolic concept of polytheism (spirit worship), and egotheism, where every person is a god of their own right.
Rites
The Trinitarian Church is divided up to multiple rites due to its Monolateral religious structure. These rites correspond to the worship of one of the aspects of the Trinity.
Luxsalva Rite
The Luxsalva Rite is the hero-worship of the Lightbringer. It is domininant in the realms of humanity, Lentelan, as well as the Ceolanese states and the Erelim. Under its portfolio are the values of Freedom, Self-Determination, Revolution, Courage, and Defiance.
Inceptio Rite
The Inceptio Rite is the worship of Nymenna as a creator-god, having many things in-common with Christianity as a belief. Inceptio Rite is scattered throughout Eleutheria, having once been common in Pre-Rapture Eastern Seibalath, although overtaken by the Luxsalvans. Its core values are Monotheism, Submission, Humility, Blind Faith, and Reconciliation.
Spiritus Rite
The Spiritus Rite is an unorganized denomination that is animist in nature. It is the primary rite practiced in Western Seibalath past the borders of Lentelan. Their portfolios would correspond to the local deities they embody.
Hyemfin Rite
The Hyemfin rite is the worship of Nymenna, as the one who shall bring the end to all living. Practice of the Hyemfin rite is shunned by nearly all Eleutherians, as expected due to their embrace of death, and their status as a doomsday cult. Only madmen believe in the Hyemfin rite, for even the liches of Tershen find it nonsensical.
