Tullia Grönberg (born August 26th, 1977) is a Caspiaan politician who serves as the Prime Minister of Caspiaa since 2018. She is the sixth woman to be Prime Minister. Grönberg also serves as an MP for her home district in Viitaniemi since 2012. Grönberg became Prime Minister after a heated election against Conservative Party incumbant Truls Engebretsen, and narrowly won reelection in 2022 against Markus Johansson. She is the leader of the Social Democratic Party. As Prime Minister, she has overseen a shift of liberalism in the social policies of Caspiaa, including a loosening of immigration laws, widening recreational drug use, and expanding access to the national health care system. She has also overseen a liberalization of Caspiaa's economy, including allowances for leases on offshore oil and gas drilling while shifting the energy grid to more reliance on renewables like offshore wind and geothermal resources. On the international stage, Grönberg has been considered a catalytic leader for her staunch support of WEDA (and her positioning during the Terehan War), CCA peacekeeping operations, and she was responsible for the formation of the Trilateral Strategic Security Dialogue. She has also been regarded as a heralder of women's rights, a vocal critic of authoritarian governments, and a supporter of clean energy initiatives.
Grönberg's domestic approval has shifted throughout her administration from periods of high ratings to low, and has repeatedly been caught in the middle of government scandals. In March 2022, a software hack at the Caspiaa Transport Agency revealed the personal private information of all registered vehicles in the country, and investigators determined that several ministers- Baat Johansson, Anders Toemaan, and Peter Altst- had been aware of the CTA's vulnerability for months and had not informed the Prime Minister. In April 2023, her Minister of Finance Hone Hojansr was forced to resign amid a bribery scandal, which investigators believed Grönberg may have been aware of. Conservative Party leader Markus Johansson led calls for Grönberg's resignation.
