Tyrsia

Tyrsia, officially Martak Tirsia, is a country located in the Center of Navnartak. It is neighboured by the countries East Hadmek, Shonarvai, Tikkai and Ronmui.

With about 1.621.827 square kilometres and a population of exactly 97.017.251 (date; 78.2qu.242atW) it is a relatively average sized country compared to other countries on Navnartak. It’s capital, Tyrannica (off. Tirannikar), is not only the biggest (~1.600km2), but also the most populated (~9.640.000 inhabitants) city in the country and is a major point for technological and scientific research and exporter of weapons and metal. It is located right in the middle of Tyrsia.

The Origin of the name Tyrsia is not completely clear, though it is known that is originated from the language Ithak. It is also sure that it is somehow related for the Ithaki word for pride (Tirak), but is is not quite clear which of these words came into existence first.

The founding of Tyrsia dates back 235 years to the year 7atW (atW - after the War), when (formerly) Trongh and Pearui merged together to one nation in order to prevent the countries from falling apart due to the consequences of the Vus Shurpi (37 year war). Since then it has remained peaceful towards other countries and developing and advanced steadily. Today Tyrsia is mainly known for being an export nation of mainly weapons, steel, iron and other metals and minerals, as well as for owning some of the most lethal weapons in entire Navnartak.

Etymology

The name Tyrsia likely has similar roots to the Ithaki word ‚Tirak‘, meaning pride, and originated in 7atW, when Tyrsia was founded. It is possible that the name means something along the lines of ‚proud nation‘ or ‚proud people‘.It may also be noted that pride of the own nation and patriotism are some of the most important and valued things in Tyrsia.
