The United States of Greater Austria (German:Vereinigte Staaten von Großösterreich) is a federal parliamentary constitutional monarchy in Europe. Consisting of approximately sixteen semi-autonomous states, it is bordered by Germany and Poland to the north, Albania, Serbia, and Romania to the south, Italy and the Adriatic Sea to the west, and Ukraine to the east. With a population of over 48 million, it is the 28th most populous country in the world. Greater Austria is notably known for its huge diversity, particularly regarding its many ethnicities. It is also the second largest country in Europe by area, and the 8th most populous country in Europe.

The concept of Greater Austria, a federalised union of states that formed the Austro-Hungarian Empire, was first notably conceived by the Romanian lawyer and politician, Aurel Popovici. On August 1894, such a concept was formally realised under Emperor Rudolf I, hoping to quell rising nationalist sentiments among the empire's many ethnic groups. A rapid program of modernisation and reform soon followed and which yielded considerable success. At the same time, Greater Austria also managed to narrowly avoid the First World War conflict, which involved its close ally, Germany. Throughout the following 1920s, Greater Austria's economy experienced a consistent upward growth, which was only cut short by the onset of the Great Depression in 1929. During the Second World War, Greater Austria successfuly repelled both German and Italian attempts at invasion, with notable success. Then, throughout the subsequent Cold War conflict, Greater Austria largely positioned itself as a neutral power, which allowed it to facilitate diplomatic talks between the Western and Eastern blocs.

Along with Belgium, Greater Austria is a federal parliamentary constitutional monarchy, with the Emperor as head of state, and an elected Chancellor as the head of government. It is a founding member of the United Nations, World Bank, International Monetary Fund, and the Non-Aligned Movement.

Greater Austria is a relatively developed country, possessing the 7th largest economy in Europe, and the 16th largest in the world.
