Military and Economics
The United States of the Soviet Union (USSU) is a large country with a population of 550 million. The USSU has been in an ongoing civil war for almost 50 years, it is considered a stalemate, and has been for a while. When the USSU was founded in 1256 B.C. there has been unrest on whether we are considered “Capitalist” or “Communist”. The USSU is essentially two different countries, on the west you have the Soviet Communists, on the East you have the American Capitalists. The Soviets have formed their own government, but still want to be considered the same country as the Americans, due to the immense amount of funding they get from them. There have been no major attacks from the Soviets because the majority of things that they need come from the East. However, the East realizes there unwillingness to attack them so they choose to scare them with small bombings with a total of less the 20 people dead.
The USSU is located in what used to be American Alaska, but is now referred to as “Capitalist Scum” by the Soviets, but the proper name is “Cape Lerska”. On the West, what used to be Eastern Soviet Union there is “Newkya”. According to thiswebsiteisfake.com the USSU would be considered the #1 tourist destination in the world if it weren’t for the protests and rallies. Cape Lerska is a cold mountainous area with an abundance of moose, chipmunks and squirrels. Newkya is also a cold and relatively mountainous area with an abundance of bears and moose. Because of Global Warming the northern USSU is almost a third of what it used to be. In the coldest part of the winter you used to be able to get across without a boat, but now it is a rare occurrence to see solid ice.
War and Trade
The USSU has one of the greatest economies in history, due to the millions of tons of oil being produced. The largest trade deal we have is with the Zancudo Islands, we exchange oil for wood and fish. The only major war the USSU has participated in is the War of 1934, this was caused when an assassin from Pinna Colada assassinated our leader. We simply bombed their main harbour and stormed in to do the same that they did to us, we killed their leader. This resulted in their attempted invasion of Newkya. They ended up retreating after a hard loss at the town of Torcam. Even though this was settled there is still unrest between the two countries.
Citizenship
Citizenship is complicated in The USSU, since there are two governments. In NewKya they believe that everyone deserves the same rights. If you were to simply walk in you would be transferred to a waiting area where you will live until you are provided with a job and a house. In NewKya if you are not willing to provide the work you are assigned you will be removed from the country and not allowed to come back. In Cape Lerska you are not welcome to just walk into our country. You will have to go through a naturalization process in which you will be tested for contraband and also on your knowledge of our country. Once you have citizenship in one state you may freely travel to the other, however if you wish to have a permanent residence in one you will have to go through their citizenship process.
Duties and Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities will differ depending on which country you are in. In the communist NewKya it is a duty to maintain good working habits and housing. If you choose to get married it will then be your responsibility to maintain a good relationship and healthy children. In Cape Lerska, it is much more simple. Your only responsibilities are to vote and to pay taxes. However in Cape Lerska you need to go through a long process to cast your vote due to a problem with voter fraud. NewKya enjoys interfering with our election in the hopes that we will elect someone to favor them. There is skepticism about our current leader, Kanye West, because of his leniency toward NewKya.
Currency
One of the most unique things about the USSU is their currency. They think that a physical dollar is out of date. Their solution is to use a popular game called MINECRAFT. The USSU citizens will get a biweekly pay of minecraft diamonds, which is 2 to the U.S. dollar. They will use a credit card throughout the month counting their diamonds and they will pay the bank that amount. It is then the bank's responsibility to get those diamonds to the vendor. However, in the communist NewKya money is nonexistent. People will work a job assigned to them by the government and in return the government will give them what they think they need.
Space Station
The USSU has the largest space force, and also the only space force. They have spent trillions of minecraft diamonds trying to find extraterrestrial life. So far they have been unsuccessful. On the other hand their space station is extremely technologically advanced. They were the first to mars and they found a material used to produce an infinite amount of electricity. This has allowed them to essentially create a city in space. There is a problem though, the material is too heavy to bring into Earth’s atmosphere on a shuttle.
