The Royal and Imperial University of St. Georgius (informally known as St. Georgius Univeristy, or simply USG) is a collegiate Private research university in Berkshire, Lucis. Founded in 1211, It is world's oldest surviving university in the English and Latin Speaking world. It is the only university in the world to have Latin in its courses.

The University is formed from a variety of institutions which include 31 constituent colleges and over 100 academic departments organised into six schools. The St. Georgius Press, a department of the university, is the world's oldest publishing house. The university also operates eight cultural and scientific museums, including the Kreisnau Museum, and a botanic garden. St. Georgius University's libraries hold a total of around 15 million books, eight million of which are in St. Georgius University Library, a legal deposit library.

The central univeristy has a total of 75.2 billion Gil worth of endowment. The university is highly-linked with the development of high-tech universities. It is also the leader of the Commonwealth Alliance of Universities as well as a member of International Alliance for Research Universities, Global University Association, United Institute for College Education. Unlike other universities, Admittance is focused more on attributes of human persona, despite it, it still has an entrance exam but its foreign enrollees undergo interview. The university area is also the biggest in the Commonwealth; Having owned a lot as big as 5 football stadiums and being able to support hundreds and thousands of students.

Monarchs

There has been 25 known royals, both local and foreign that have studied in the University. Kings Henricus VII, Georgius III, Willus IV, Regis Lucis Caelum CVI, Regis Lucis Caelum CVIII, Georgius V, Regis Lucis Caelum CX, Regis Lucis Caelum CXI, Regis Lucis Caelum CXII, Regis Lucis Caelum CXIII and the current monarch, Noctis Lucis Caelum are well-known alumnus of the University. In X769, Under the royal order of King Georgius III, The University was given the title of Royal. The Queen consort, Lunafreya Nox Fleuret is also an alumnus and has met with Noctis within the campus.

Politicians

One of the alumnus of the University was Winston S. Churchill, who was the leading Prime Ministers of the United Kingdom and the one that had encouraged the Commonwealth to fight back at the nation's darkest hour. Ignis Stupeo Scientia, the current Prime Minister of the United Kingdom is also a well-known alumnus.

The youngest Prime Minister of Austrakiba, Hibari Nanatsuki is also one of the university's alumni.

Military

The university has had 35 known military personnel that have studied in the university. One of them was Brian Edward Horrocks, one of the most popular commanders during the Great War. Bernard S. Montgomery, Archibald Sugiyama, Klankain Auchinleck II, Carl Welsh, Harry Tachibana, Kiriya Mountbatten and Daidoji Kitagawa were among the alumnus of the university.

Snow Villiers, Karl Kretschmann, Angus MacDonald and Kiriya Kitagawa are one of the contemporary alumnus of the university currently serving the the Lucis Armed Forces. Klankain Auchinleck IV, a grandson of Klankain Auchinleck II, an alumnus is also one of the known people in the university and was active in the university's organizations.
