The Federal Republic of Urusla (Standard Uruslan: La República Federal d’Urusla) or more commonly known as Urusla is a republic located on the continent of Oliviacia in south-eastern Anteria. Urusla has a population of about 189,000,000 Uruslans, 12% of which are immigrants from the last 50 years. Uruslans are fiercely patriotic and enjoy great social equality; they tend to view other, less democratic countries as somewhat immoral and corrupt. Urusla is well known for its equal rights for all, higher taxes for the wealthy [however, the higher you are taxed the more Septims you gain (Septims can be turned in to the government for resources that are harder to come by and/or are in short supply)], and its compulsory military training. Urusla is made up of 4 states with state governments, 3 federal provinces which follow ONLY Federal law, and one federal district that has a small council. Urusla is about 750,229 sq km (466,171 sq miles). Its capital city is Hawkingshold and its largest city is Riften.

History

Early Ages

Once upon a time in the land of Mede (Eastern Urusla), over 3,500 immigrants migrated from the arid lands to the east. They were described as having a mix between brown and light tan colored skin and there skin hardly ever burned and almost always tanned. They generally had black to brown colored hair with the women being very pretty and the men having a muscular build. The new immigrants and greenish blue eyes and had very straight hair. The men were known for being very hairy so having long hair and a large amount of facial hair was seen as being dishonorable. These immigrants were in large tribes known as Dinastia(s). A Dinastia was a very simple system where there was a Council of Elders and a Chief. There was also something known as the Dynastien which was the family that created the Dinastia. Every Dynastien held significant power and at least one member of the family would be in the Council of Elders. The locals smiled upon the new foreigners and the two different cultures soon intermingled into one. These foreign immigrants brought with them the thought of there being no god, spicy food, and there love of democracy. The locals in Mede were quite similar to these foreigners from the east but with a few key differences. The locals were known as the Français Pyrs while the foreigners were known as the Urunean Espagnol. Together they created the culture known as Pyrenean.

Branches of the Military

The Uruslan Armed Forces is made up of 7 branches, each of which have their own jobs. The first of which is the "The Grand Forces of the Republic" AKA ¨THE UNITERS¨, formerly known as ¨The Army of the Democratic States of Urusla.¨ They originally were used to disrupt the communists in the 70´s and 80´s when the communists held Urusla. They previously were just an unorganized group of militiamen who grabbed what they could and used it to fight back. The Grand Forces of the Republic is now the protecting branch of Urusla. They never have to leave the nation and are always on guard. It consists of soldiers on land, in the water, and even in the air. They are always on standby, just waiting for Urusla to be in danger. Currently, there are just under 70,000 active personal, with 420,000 in reserve.
