The Ercainca , also known as the Rendőrség or the Ercainca/Rendőrség, is the federal law enforcement agency of the Federal Republic of Brilliania. A member of the Ercainca is referred to as an Ercana or Rendőr (in Iparinan).
History
The creation of the Ercainca can be traced back to local organisations, which were in service of municipalities and provided protective services. An increase in banditry in the late 19th century caused the merger of the local guarding units of several cities, forming the People's Guards.
