Kingdom of Bylake

The Kingdom of Bylake is a sovereign country in Europe Sitting at the top of the European Continent. The Kingdom includes the Kingdom of Denmark and the Netherlands, with an overseas colonial empire including Burmuda, South Africa and Eastern Canada.

The Kingdom is a constitutional monarchy with a parliamentary democracy. The monarch is King William I, who has reigned since 18th March 2007. The capital of the Kingdom and its largest city is Xuchester, with a population of 2.58 million, the largest in the Kingdom.

Civil War

In 1987 The Socialist Party with a large number of the armed forces stormed the Capital city and arrested the monarch, King Max VIII, and executed him. While his wife & daughter went into exile in the Kingdoms close ally of France. After 4 months without a monarch, Prime Minister Landon Carson and most of the Parliament voted to return King Max’s daughter as Queen Mary III of Bylake.

Restoration of The Monarch

Queen Mary and her husband produced 4 children all but 1 died in infancy. When the Prince became old enough to be influenced, Prime Minister Carson placed Socialist Members around him. In 2000 The Prince joined the Socialist Party and was a large supporter for completing Socialist control in the Kingdom. When the Queen died on 13th December 2006 The Prince, now King, was forced the leave the Socialist Party by the constitution. When the King took power he removed everyone from the government not in the Socialist Party. Prime Minister Carson resigned in 2007 due to ill health. When the Prime Minister resigned the King gave him the Highest award available to a citizen. To this day, The Socialist King & Government continue to rule The Kingdom of Bylake.
